Step inside to encounter the artists drawn here by its distinctive light and landscape and see how they helped make the town an internationally renowned centre for modern art. Alongside the main gallery displays, changing exhibitions feature modern and contemporary artists from around the world.

There is plenty for families to discover too. The Teylu family programme offers activities throughout the year, inviting children and families to explore the gallery, get creative and experience art together through artist-led workshops, playful installations and hands-on making.

Make time to pause in the roof top café, with views across Porthmeor Beach, then browse the shop for art books, prints and gifts to take a little of Tate St Ives home with you. You don’t need a gallery ticket to visit the café or shop.

Just a short walk from Tate St Ives, discover the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden, the artist’s former home and studio. Step inside the spaces where Hepworth lived and worked, then explore the garden where many of her sculptures remain among the plants and surroundings she carefully created. The museum requires a separate ticket.
